These lessons are included in our Astronomy Unit Study.

Language Arts Module 1: The Moon

Language Arts Module 3: Word Space

• Edit space and determine proper spacing in practice paragraphs using proofreading marks

Language Arts Module 4: Star Myths

• Learn to recognize the elements of a myth and write your own
  
• Watch a video about the stories of constellations, then analyze the stories
• Read a Greek myth story and turn the characters into puppets to retell the mythical tale
• Look for and invent your own constellation
• Tell your own star stories with star story cards
• Write a star story

Guided Writing Project: Write an astronomy research paper from a selection of possible topics, then follow along with the writing templates and prompts.
