Through guided practice, tracing, copywork, and engaging multi-sensory activities, students continue refining pencil control while learning to write letters, words, and sentences with improved readability and organization. Special emphasis is placed on consistent letter sizing, proper spacing between words, line awareness, and overall handwriting neatness. Using a playful alphabet poem as the spine, copywork passages help students practice handwriting in context while reinforcing attention, visual tracking, and written language skills.

This course is rooted in research-based occupational therapy practices that support healthy handwriting development and fine motor growth in early childhood and elementary learners.
